All the innovation, excitement, energy, networking, brainstorming and massive creativity that is SXSW 2020 begins on Friday, March 13 — so this year’s event is just 16 days away.

As the countdown to March Magic continues, today’s focus is the SXSW Gaming Expo, which runs Thursday, March 19 through Saturday, March 21 at the Palmer Events Center (900 Barton Springs Rd).

Presented by BANDAI NAMCO Research Inc, the SXSW Gaming Expo showcases gaming culture in a unique atmosphere of exploration. Featuring interactive exhibits from game developers and manufacturers and highlights like the Discovery Stage, the Antstream Arcade Bunker and the Tabletop Experience, the Gaming Expo offers a deep dive into the latest in gaming.

The SXSW Gaming Expo is open to all badgeholders. Or, if you do not have a badge for the 2020 event, then buy a three day wristband ($39) or a a single day ticket ($20) to attend the Gaming Expo. Patrons who opt for a three day wristband can also attend the SXSW Gaming Awards which will be emceed by Wil Wheaton and Janina Gavankar on Sunday, March 15.

Three day wristband holders also gain admission to the BioWare 25th Anniversary Party on Wednesday, March 18, plus special gaming-related film screenings on Friday, March 20 and the eMLS Cup on Saturday, March 21.
