Rod Favaron. Catch the President and CEO of the Austin-based social software firm at 11:00 am when he delivers a presentation titled “Social Airbag.” His session will focus on how social networks will continue to innovate to adapt to (and overcome) current challenges faced by this industry. Nancy Giordano. Described as endlessly optimistic, Giordano is a strategic futurist with a drive to help enterprise organizations and visionary leaders transform themselves to meet the escalating expectations ahead. Her session at 12:30 pm in Room 5ABC will tackle “The Case for Audacious Leadering” addressing how 21st century leaders must now embrace and confidently navigate these new opportunities and the need for constant innovation
Suzi Sosa. The Co-Founder and CEO of Verb, Sosa (pictured above) leads a purpose-driven company using technology to advance social impact. Her presentation for SXSW 2018 is titled “How I Survived My Social Enterprise Pivot,” which will share the story of how her company transformed from a services model to a SaaS technology platform. She will share the lessons learned on what it really takes to build a social enterprise that can scale. See her from 3:30 pm.
John Kim. A seasoned and accomplished product and marketing executive with over 20 years of digital media expertise, Kim is now President of HomeAway. His “Love in the Age of Machine Learning” session at 5:00 pm will explores how our humanity and the ability to love will be a competitive advantage and will shape in a future that will be increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence.
