On Tuesday, October 30 at 4:00 pm, join me at PowerUp Austin as I interview of the city’s most interesting entrepreneurs, Adam Lyons.
Lyons founded the The Zebra in 2012, and moved the startup to Austin in 2013. Over the next five years (and with help from investors like Mark Cuban and Mike Maples), this company helped significantly disrupt the insurance industry. In late July, he announced his departure from The Zebra to pursue a variety of new opportunities.
On October 30, Adam and I will talk about what he learned from this first startup experience, as well as what is next for his career. We’ll also talk about how playing poker better prepares you for life as a founder. Plus we’ll take plenty of audience questions (and the best question might just win a free badge for SXSW 2019)
