April 12: Social Media Strategy Mapping
If you need a better social media strategy, then you need to attend “Social Media Strategy Mapping” on Thursday, April 12 at General Assembly Austin (600 Congress Ave, 14th Floor).
Attending this session will teach you how to create an elevator pitch that clearly defines your brand, audience, and key differentiator. You will also learn how to define and track the KPIs most relevant to your business, as well as to identify which social media platforms to use for your business.
The “Social Media Strategy Mapping” seminar will be led by Meredith Gonsalves (pictured above). A social media guru and content strategist, she has worked on digital content strategies for Fortune 500 brands such as Wells Fargo, Western Union, Morningstar Inc., and Deloitte. As a budding journalist, Gonsalves already understood social media’s benefit to publishers and reporters but quickly realized it’s immense potential to help brands better connect with customers. As a result, she traded in the traditional journalism track to pursue a career in social media and digital storytelling. Her experience spans working on corporate marketing teams, within digital agencies, and now as an independent consultant and owner of Work it Web.
Cost to attend the “Social Media Strategy Mapping” session on April 12 is $35. Session begins at 6:30 pm and ends around 8:30 pm. Register here to reserve your place at this event.
