Big SXSW Announcement Coming Sept 10

SXSW PanelPicker community voting and commenting has now closed for the 2019 season. Advisory Board analysis and staff judging on the 5000+ speaking proposals in this interface continues for a few additional weeks. Accepted content from the PanelPicker will be announced via the SXSW website in early October.
But please mark your calendar for Monday, September 10, when the first round of Keynotes and Featured Speakers for the 2019 event will be revealed. Some very compelling creative voices are already confirmed for next spring, so this September 10 announcement promises to be an exciting one.
The early-bird registration rate for SXSW 2019 expires at the end of the day on Thursday, September 13. Buy your badge before this rate expires to save $500 on the walkup fees. After you register, then reserve your lodging via SXSW Housing and Travel. Plenty of convenient and affordable rooms still available (at a big savings compared to the listed rates).
Also remember that end of day on Thursday, September 6 is the entry deadline for the 2019 SXSW Community Service Awards. Finish your application before this September 5 deadline to be eligible for a minimum $4000 grant, as well as a complimentary registration to the 2019 event.
