Dec 8 Deadline for SXSW Gaming Awards

If you are a developer in the entertainment space, then be sure to apply for the 2018 SXSW Gaming Awards before the end of day on Friday, December 8.

Categories for entry range from “Mobile Game of the Year” to “VR Game of the Year” to “Esports Game of the Year “ to “Excellence in Design” and “Excellent in Narrative.” There are 20 total categories to choose from.

Friday, December 8 is also the entry deadline for the SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award, which is exclusively available to indie game titles and teams.

Finalists for this competition will be honored at the SXSW Gaming Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 17 at the Hilton Austin. Stay tuned for more information on emcees for the 2018 ceremony. Emcees for this past spring were OMGitsfirefoxx and Xavier Woods (as pictured above).
