The US Grand Prix comes to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22. It is an exciting time for Central Texas with so many international race fans coming to Austin for this three-day, star-studded event. But beyond the pageantry of all the race-related activities, F1 is really about innovative technology for mobility and transportation.

Innovative technology for mobility and transportation is also a big theme for SXSW. Many of the 700+ sessions announced earlier this week for March 2018 focus on this topic, including “The Emotional Life of Your Autonomous Car,” “How Cities will Drive Autonomous Vehicles,” “A Music Revolution in the Connected Dashboard,” “The Next Generation of Elon Musks Take on Space,” “Overhead Transit: Cable, Hyperloop, PRT & Drones,” “Prototyping at Scale: Designing Future Cars!,” “The Rapidly Evolving Mobility Marketplace,” and “Your Car Has X-ray Vision

Use the search function at the top right corner of the SXSW 2018 schedule page to find more content that appeals to your specific interest.

Attend all this cool SXSW content by purchasing a badge for the event. Register before the end of the day on Friday, October 20 to save a fast $400 on the walkup fees. After you buy your badge, book your housing via SXSW Hotel and Travel.
