An important new addition for March Magic 2017 is the SXSW Gaming Pitch Competition, which is scheduled for Friday, March 17 at the Austin Convention Center.

If you have a gaming-related startup, then apply to be part of this fun-filled event before the Friday, January 20 deadline. There is no application fee to enter this competition — all you have to be involved is get your paperwork into the system in the next 48 hours. All applications will be reviewed in-house and finalists will be announced via the website later this month.

Now positioned as a unique entity, SXSW Gaming runs Thursday, March 16 through Saturday, March 18.
