After you get your questions answered at the SXSW Office Hours at Capital Factory on Wednesday, January 10, then head over to the new Central Library for the Austin Forum.

This month’s edition will focus on “Top Tech Trends for 2018 and Beyond.” Attendees will hear a comprehensive overview of key technologies, and then learn how these technologies and others are fueling innovation that is transforming business and society. Speakers include blockchain expert Haydn Shaughnessy and long-time technology architect Jay Williams.

Doors open for the January 10 event at 5:45 pm and the presentation begins at 6:15 pm. The post-presentation reception will begin around 7:30 (and during this networking reception, Haydn Shaughnessy will be signing copies of his new book, Flow: A Handbook for Change Makers, Mavericks, Innovation Activists and Leaders, co-written with Fin Goulding). Location of the Central Library is 710 West Cesar Chavez. Admission to the Austin Forum is free — but, be sure to RSVP via this link.
