The Office of Mayor Steve Adler, along with the the City of Austin Office of Innovation and the Dell Medical School are collaborating to create an innovative solution to a homelessness service delivery crisis in Austin as part of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Mayors Challenge.

Scheduled July 27–29 at the Faulk Library in downtown Austin (800 Guadalupe Street), the Mayor’s Blockchain Challenge aims to erase barriers to important services by using blockchain technology to permanently store and maintain important documents and transactions that make up an identity.
