Learn to Slow Down: Aug 7 at BookPeople
The Forrest Four-Cast: August 4, 2018
All too often, it can feel like living a simpler life is just too complicated. Who has time for decluttering, organizing and mindfulness with everything else going on?
Brooke McAlary is ready to help. Currently slow-traveling her way around North America with her family, the popular blogger (Slow Your Home) and podcaster has made it her mission to offer gentle support, practical advice and meaningful inspiration to enable you make it easier to let go of your frantic busyness and create a life filled with the things that truly matter to you — slowly! She started this particular journey in 2011 after being diagnosed with severe postpartum depression and is now the author of two books including her latest, “Slow: Simple Living for a Frantic World.”
McAlary will be at BookPeople in Austin (603 N Lamar Blvd, 78703) at 7 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 7, for a conversation with fellow simple life practitioner Tsh Oxenreider (who is author of “At Home in the World: Reflections on Belonging While Wandering the Globe”)
