Matthew Inman in Austin on June 7
The Forrest Four-Cast: June 4, 2019
Looking for a return to the less combative online culture of a few years back? Then catch former SXSW Interactive keynote speaker Matthew Inman at BookPeople in Austin (603 N. Lamar Blvd) on Friday, June 7 at 7:00 pm.
Inman will be speaking about his new book “Why My Cat Is More Impressive Than Your Baby.” This work is chockfull of comics about cats, babies, dogs, lasers, selfies, and pigeons!
The Eisner Award-winning creator of the Oatmeal and the #1 New York Times bestselling author of “How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You,” Inman also co-created the popular Exploding Kittens card game. Since being founded in 2009, his work on theOatmeal.com has been read by over 300 million people.
Inman served as one of the keynotes at SXSW 2013 (the same year that Elon Musk was part of the keynote lineup). Click here to watch the full video from that humorous presentation from six years ago.
