The roughly 1500 panels and presentations and other types of sessions that comprise the 2020 SXSW Conference are divided into 22 different tracks.

Beginning Monday, March 16 and ending on Saturday, March 21, the “Future of Music” track is another new addition to the 2020 lineup. This track addresses emerging technologies and cultural trends that are transforming the music industry more rapidly than ever before. “Future of Music” sessions examine these issues by exploring all aspects of the industry, from rights management and immersive live performances to experiential marketing campaigns and more.

Other new tracks for SXSW 2020 include “Climate & Social Action,” “Connection & Culture,” “Fantastic Future,” “Game Industry,” “Professional Development,” and “Space.”

More than 500 panels and presentations in all of these 22 tracks for next March will be announced via the SXSW website on Tuesday, October 22. This announcement is our biggest announcement of the 2020 season!
