The Forrest Four-Cast: November 12, 2017
Later this week, Wizard World Comic Con brings pop culture, movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, tech, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more to the Austin Convention Center. Show hours are Friday, November 17, 4–9 p.m.; Saturday, November 18, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, November 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Highlights of the three-day event include celebrity appearances by Kate Beckinsale, Val Kilmer and Jon Heder. As for content, options include “Cosplay Workshop: Working With Worbla,” “Youtube 101: Where Do I Start?,” “Justice League Of America Cosplay Meet-Up.” “Marvel Vs Dc: The Great Debate” and “Queers And Capes: Historical Representation Of The Lgbt In The Superhero Genre.”
Tickets for Wizard World Comic Con range from VIP Packages at $249 to Friday General Admission tickets at $39.95 Kids 10 and under are admitted free to Wizard World Comic Con with a paid adult.
If you like Wizard World Comic Con, then you will probably also like SXSW Gaming, which runs March 15–17. Single day tickets as well as three-day wristbands for the event are now on sale. Also, if you are a game developer, then be sure to enter your new project in the SXSW Gaming Awards. Application deadline for this competition is Friday, December 8.
