Blockchain will significantly change the financial services industry by eliminating intermediaries, moving towards what experts suggest as machine-to-machine payments.

Scheduled at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 8 at Capital Factory (701 Brazos Street), the “Transformation of the Financial Services Industry: Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies” masterclass offers an inspiring look at how this new technology will disrupt many faces of business activity. While facing relevant regulatory scrutiny and more time and investments are needed to develop and foster commercial applications, blockchain is not a temporary trend.

The November 8 event is presented by IE North America, an organization which champions innovation and personal development.

Attend more content focused on this topic from March 14–16 at the “Blockchain & Cryptocurrency” track at SXSW 2019. Click here to learn more about all the sessions within this three-day track.
