The Forrest Four-Cast: September 9, 2019
The Creatives Meet Business Experience (or CMBXP for short) focuses on learning and connecting for artists, creatives, freelancers, and small business owners. Attendees assemble their daily schedule from more than 50 hands-on workshops that covers topics such as Business, Marketing, Skills Development, and Storytelling as well as one-on-one mentorship opportunities.
For 2019, this event runs Thursday, September 19 through Saturday, September 21 in multiple venues in Springdale General (1023 Springdale Rd) in beautiful East Austin.
Sessions at CMBXP include “The Art of Negotiation: Know Your Worth,” “Asking Better Questions,” “The DIY Marketing Plan,” “How to Leverage Empathy to Maximize Conversations,” “Just Say No: How to Fire a Client,” “Make Budgeting Great Again,” “Never Tell a Boring Story Again,” “Vulnerability: What Is It and Why Would I Use It?” “What’s the Point: Making Your Message More Concise,” and “Your Creative Compass: Story Goals.”
