The cavalcade of spring entrepreneurial-related events in Central Texas continues with the third annual Startup Weekend HackOut, which runs April 11–14 at Rowling Hall on the campus of the University of Texas.

As noted on the Startup Weekend HackOut website, “The hardest part of starting up is starting out, and the purpose of this event is to inspire potential entrepreneurs in the LGBTQIA community to learn the ropes of validating an idea for a startup or lifestyle business and turn that idea into a business venture.”

Participants in this event are promised to experience the highs, lows, fun, and pressure that make up life at a startup. Attendees will create a real company and meet the very best mentors, investors, co-founders, and sponsors who are ready to help you get started. Register here to be part of all this learning, creativity, networking and fun, which kicks off on Thursday evening April 11.

Algo, get more LGBTQIA-focused content by listening to some of the audio recordings from sessions that occurred at SXSW 2019 including “Encryption and Minority Communities” and “The Future is Fluid: How Gender and Sexuality Has Changed.”
