SXSW Gaming Awards: Dec 2 Deadline

Scheduled March 16–18 in Austin, SXSW Gaming gains more autonomy in 2017. Four ways to be part of this fun are as follows:

1. Buy a SXSW Gaming Wristband. Enjoy the SXSW Gaming Expo as well as SXSW Gaming sessions by purchasing a wristband, which go on sale on Monday, November 28. Prices increase on January 1. If you have a SXSW Interactive, Music, Film or Platinum badge, then you can get into this space without a wristband.
2. Enter the SXSW Gaming Awards. End of day on Friday, December 2 is the deadline to enter your new project in the 2017 SXSW Gaming Awards. Winners for this competition are honored at an action-packed ceremony on the evening of Saturday, March 17. Stay tuned — emcees for the 2017 show to be announced soon.
3. Attend a community event in Austin. If you are a Central Texas gamers, then please come to our next Tabletop Night on Tuesday, December 6 at Emerald Tavern Games and Café (9012 Research Blvd, Suite C6, 78758). Our goal for each of these Tabletop Nights is to bring people together by connecting over great games and good times.
4. Purchase space at the SXSW Gaming Expo. Located on the first floor of the Austin Convention Center, the exhibit floor pulls in about 70,000 visitors over the course of three days.
