SXSW Ideas Wanted Beginning July 1
The Forrest Four-Cast: June 14, 2019
Got a creative, forward-thinking idea that you want the world to hear? If so, then know that the entry period for SXSW 2020 speaking proposals has almost arrived. This process begins on the morning of Monday, July 1 and closes at the end of the day on Friday, July 19.
All speaking proposals should be entered through the PanelPicker. This easy-to-use interface empowers the global SXSW community to send in their ideas, as well as to comment and to vote on the topics (and speakers) that make the most sense for next year’s event.
The list of conference tracks for March 2020 will be announced on Monday, June 24 via the SXSW website. In addition to setting the framework of the topics for next year’s event, these tracks help attendees to understand what specific content will occur in what specific venues.
Also opening on July 1 is the SXSW Pitch application process for startups that want to leverage the power of the March Magic platform.
Badge sales for SXSW 2020 will begin on Thursday, August 1. Buy early for the lowest rates and for the best options on convenient, downtown lodging. Special registration discounts are available for group purchases, as well as for high school and college students.
