UPDATE: Entry deadline for SXSW 2019 speaking proposals extended to Sunday, July 22 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.

Speaking proposals for SXSW 2019 are now being accepted via the PanelPicker interface. Through the entry deadline of July 20, this space offers 25 tips on how you can have the most success in this process.

If you are a recently-published author, then a reminder to enter a speaking proposal in the “Book Reading” format. An hour-long solo sessions, Book Readings give the author a chance to explore the themes or motifs present in their work. Authors selected to speak at part of this Book Reading program are also invited to sign/sell copies of their work at the SXSW Bookstore.
