Click on the 2019 SXSW PanelPicker interface to find 5000+ forward-thinking speaking proposals from across the United States and around the world. Voting and commenting on these speaking proposals is open through the end of the day on Thursday, August 30.

Getting involved in this voting and commenting process is simple. Just log into your SXSW account (or create a new one if you don’t have one yet). Setting up an account is free and takes only about 2 minutes to complete.

Charting year-by-year entry patterns in the PanelPicker provides some interesting data. Today we examine the healthy uptick in health-related proposals in the 2019 interface. For this year’s PanelPicker, the “Health & MedTech” track contains 268 total speaking proposals. By comparison, the 2018 PanelPicker interface included 115 speaking proposals in what was then named the “Health” track.

Investigate other trends in the PanelPicker interface by typing in your favorite keyword in the “Search” bar that is located on the left side of the interface. Or, just visit this post from Medium to read the running list of day-by-day ideas that are getting the most traction in this year’s interface.

Around 10–20% of the 5000+ speaking proposals in the PanelPicker will be accepted as sessions for March 2019 in Austin. These accepted sessions will be announced via the SXSW website in mid-October. Register now so that you can be part of all the discovery, brainstorming, creativity, deal-making, and cross-industry networking that is SXSW.

Let your voice be heard! Deadline to register to vote in Texas for the November 2018 general election is Tuesday, October 9.
