UPDATE: Place by Design deadline extended through end of day Nov 21.

Kicking off on Monday, November 5, Austin Design Week brings dozens of activities to Central Texas.

If design is your passion, then remember that Place by Design is the public space design competition at SXSW. This competition celebrates transformative work at the intersection of art, technology, and design that rethinks how we use and interact with the places around us.

Entry deadline for Place By Design is the end of the day on Thursday, November 8. Click here to find the application.

Finalists for this competition will present their work in a fast-paced showcase during the Design track at SXSW 2019. Each designer or team will present their work in a fast-paced pitch competition and participate in a Q&A session with the judges, who ultimately determine the winner.
