The Forrest Four-Cast: October 26, 2018
As Early Voting continues for the Tuesday, November 6 General Election, more and more of our attention focuses on the largely antiquated polling process.
At SXSW 2019 in March, one panel that will tackle this topic is titled “Block(chain)-the-Vote: Mobile Voting by Blockchain.” According to the description, this session will will “delve into the technology behind mobile voting before running a mock election with the audience. Decisions are made by those who show up, mobile voting ensures everyone at least has a ticket.”
One of the experts scheduled to speak on this “Block(chain)-the-Vote: Mobile Voting by Blockchain” panel is Bradley Tusk of Tusk Holdings (pictured above). Read more about his passion for 21st century ballot box innovation via this story in the October 22 edition of the New Yorker.
The “Block(chain)-the-Vote: Mobile Voting by Blockchain” session will be part of the new “Blockchain & Cryptocurrency” track at SXSW 2019. This track runs Thursday, March 14 through Saturday, March 16.
