Texas Smart Cities Summit on May 21
The Forrest Four-Cast: May 19, 2019
The inaugural Texas Smart Cities Summit brings together thought leaders, policy makers, designers and developers to share ideas and experiences, trade lessons learned, and develop plans and priorities for forward-thinking cities in the Lone Star State.
Keynote speakers for this May 21 event are Charlie Catlett (Senior Computer Scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory and a Senior Fellow at the University of Chicago Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation) and Ruthbea Yesner (the the Vice President of Government Insights at the International Data Corporation)
Other speakers at the Texas Smart Cities summit include Steve Adler (Mayor, City of Austin), Jay Boisseau (Executive Director & Founder, Austin CityUP), Ron Baker (Board of Directors and President, Austin CityUP), Stephen Elkins (Chief Information Officer, City of Austin), Jennifer Sanders (Dallas Innovation Alliance), Jesse Bounds (Director of Innovation, City of Houston(, Brian Dillard (Chief Innovation Officer, City of San Antonio) and Chelsea Collier (Founder, Digi.City).
Programming begins at 8:30 am and continues until 5:00 pm. A networking reception and exhibition runs from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The Texas Smart Cities Summit occurs at the Austin Central Public Library (710 West Cesar Chavez Street). Click here to purchase your ticket.
