Tim Ferriss at Book People on Dec 2
The Forrest Four-Cast: November 26, 2017
Frequent SXSW speaker and new Austin resident Tim Ferriss talks about his new book “Tribe of Mentors: Short Life Advice from the Best in the World” at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 2 at Book People.
Published November 21, this new release consists of brief interviews with more than 100 eclectic experts. Through these short, action-packed conversations and profiles, Ferriss shares their secrets for success, happiness, meaning, and more. No matter what challenge or opportunity you face, something in these pages can help your particular life journey.
Speaking of interesting life journeys, Ferriss’s career began to gain traction with the technology crowd after he participated in a Book Reading for “The 4-Hour Workweek” at SXSW 2007. With the general theme that digital creatives can and should pursue their passions to design a career that best suits their lifestyle, “The 4-Hour Workweek” proved to be very popular with the forward-thinking innovators who come to Austin each spring.
More recently, he spoke with Cheryl Strayed on the main stage at SXSW 2017 (as pictured above). Click here to watch the full video of their inspiring conversation on how to be more creative.
For the December 2 event at Book People, each book purchased will come with a signed bookplate from the author. If you cannot attend on December 2 and would like to order a signed copy of the book, then add the book to your cart and put SIGNED COPY in the comments field at checkout. Book People will ship all over the world!
