Two FREE Community Events on March 13
The Forrest Four-Cast: March 6, 2017
Get the most out of all the career-enhancing opportunities at SXSW by purchasing a badge. If you can’t make that kind of investment at this time, then take advantage of all the FREE events for 2017 including SXSW Create, the SXSW Job Market, and the workshop programming at the AT&T Conference Center. Also, remember to attend these two free community-focused on Monday, March 13.
Presented by Amazon Web Services, the ATX Startup Crawl at SXSW celebrates technology and entrepreneurship and the abundance of founders that currently call Austin home. Grab a group of friends and take the shuttle from stop to stop for a free beverage, to drop off a resume, see office space and explore Austin’s robust entrepreneurial scene at more than 100 of the city’s top startups. The fun starts at 5:00 pm on March 13 — RSVP now to be part of the action. No badge required to attend.
Also on March 13 and also free are the SXSW Community Service Awards (pictured above), which begin at 6:00 pm at the Riverside Ballroom at the Radisson Austin Downtown. This event recognizes 10 honorees from across the US and around the world who are solving global issues and helping their communities through technology. Complimentary food, drinks and networking — and the stories you will hear from these 10 honorees are guaranteed to inspire your journey forward.
