Whurley Interview in Austin on Jan 16
Over the last several years, William Hurley (known throughout the world by his moniker Whurley) has emerged as one of Austin’s most prolific — and most successful — entrepreneurs.
Notable exits include his mobile startup Chaotic Moon’s acquisition by Accenture, and his Fintech startup Honest Dollar’s acquisition by Goldman Sachs. In 2018, he launched his latest startup venture; Strangeworks, a quantum computing software platform. This venture inspired him to co-author the world’s top-selling book for next-generation physicists, “Quantum Computing for Babies.” In 2019, Whurley announced his involvement in Ecliptic Capital, a new $150M fund he co-founded with his long-time business partner Mike Erwin where the two serve as General Partners.
Learn more about his fascinating journey at 4:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon, January 16 when I interview him as part of the PowerUp series. RSVP here to attend this special event at Capital Factory.
Also, if you want to get a preview of some of the concepts we’ll discuss on January 16, then watch this full-length video of Whurley’s keynote presentation about quantum computing at SXSW 2018.
