Beginning on Friday, March 9, SXSW 2018 stands less than 20 days away. Here’s your four point check-list to get ready for this year’s action.

  1. Buy Your Badge. Have you registered yet? If not, then click here. Big discounts for students are still available (but these prices increase on March 1). Group discounts are also still available if multiple people from your organization want to attend — contact SXSW for more info.
  2. Sign Up For SXSW Social. After you buy your badge, create your profile on SXSW Social. Doing so will allow you to connect with other attendees before the event — and to set up meetings with the kinds of digital creatives that you want to connect with in March.
  3. Browse the Online Schedule. Budget an hour to the online schedule so that you can plan your itinerary for this year’s event. Use the search bar to find the sessions and the networking events that are most appealing to you. Mark the star next to those listings so they will save to your calendar. Also, know that more big-name speakers will be announced this week via the SXSW website.
  4. March 6 Office Hours. If you live in Austin and you still have SXSW-related questions, then RSVP for Office Hours on Tuesday, March 6 at Capital Factory (701 Brazos St). This day-long event is the perfect place to get answers to your last-minute March Magic questions.

Also stay abreast of last-minute SXSW 2018 updates, news and developments by signing up for the various email newsletters.
